Birdy the Mighty/Tetsuwan Birdy and all related characters are the property of Yuuki Masami.

Okay, for anyone who hasn't seen either the original OVA or Decode, Birdy had a traumatic incident when she was little, where she witnessed the death of someone close to her named Violeen. While not a whole lot about who Violeen was and her ties to Birdy outside of being close to her was made in the OVA, in Decode, it was revealed that Violeen was that closest thing that Birdy had to a mother (There are circumstances).

Anyway, this picture was inspired by a scene idea from a fanfic idea I had. So, the scene idea was basically that something happened that caused Birdy to have a really bad trip down memory lane.

I also wanted to draw Birdy with a different expression since I usually draw her smiling or scowling.
