Well, the Batman V Superman teaser is out.
It looks pretty interesting, though nothing new. The Batsuit looks pretty cool and though clearly modulated, Ben Affleck sounds decent/
That said, I'm going to respond to Mark Millar's comment: "I agree with the guys who made that Superman/Batman trailer - Those Chris Nolan movies WERE just too bright and happy!"
I warn everyone right now the next part involves swearing.
Millar, you have no right to talk. You brought us The Unfunnies, Old Man Logan, The Ultimates, Nemesis, Wanted, and Kick-Ass, and those are some pretty dark and ugly stories. The latter two were heavily altered when adapted to film for a reason. You opened your run on The Authority by making Jack Kirby the villain and displaying stand-in for the Avengers as a lot of baby-killers and the Captain America stand-in a rapist. Wanted had to be heavily altered from the original premise of "supervillains running the world and doing whatever the hell they pleased" to "a bunch of people trying to prevent a second Hitler". For those who don't read the Kick-Ass, Big Daddy was just an asshole who create the backstory about being a cop. Millar, you are the one who brought us the team that was called "the Toxic Mega-[Grinche]s" (I apologize for the How I Met Your Mother censoring in this case, but I refuse to type the actual word in question). Christopher Mintz-Plasse was on record that he was glad that Red Mist/Motherfucker's worst transgressions are written out. Hit Girl was still 12 in the comic. Jeph Loeb may've gotten flack for confirming that the Ultimate versions of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver were in an incestous relationship, but you implied it first. Old Man Logan was basically Wanted in the Marvel Universe, with the implication that the Hulk raped his cousin She-Hulk to have a family. When adapting the Avengers into the Ultimates, you took key aspects of the Avengers and exaggerated them to the point of making them unlikable, including having Captain America having have the views that were present in the 1940s, taking Iron Man's and Hank Pym's lowest moments and cranking them up, and making the Hulk was a sex-crazed cannibal!
And the less I say about The Unfunnies and Nemesis, the better. The world will be very poorer if they ever get adapted into movies. So, no, Millar, you have no right to condemn the trailer given what you've written yourself.

My Thoughts on the Classic Robin Suit
Not too long ago, I discussed my thoughts on Superman's costumes and the hypocrisy of both Zack Snyder and a certain creep who was involved in Fox's X-Men films. Well, I'm going to now talk about my thoughts on updating one of the elements I'd mentioned in that post. That's right: Robin's short shorts. I understand why it's updated and think it's a good idea. However... I'll be honest: I hate the omission of green in a lot of cases. I hated it with Tim Drake in the DCAU. I hated with when Batman & Robin made Robin's suit basically the Nightwing suit with a cape and the symbol red instead of blue. And I've never liked any of the Robin designs in Young Justice. As an aside, I also hate the inverted colors on the Robin symbol on Tim's costume in the YJ revival and Dick's suit on The Batman. I also hate them slapping one of Tim's outfits on Dick or Jason. Hated it in the DCAU, hated it in Batman Forever, hated it on Teen Titans, hated it on The Batman, hated it in Under the
An Announcement
As a lot of you may know, for over a decade I've kicked around an idea of a fanfic called Multiversal War. Despite making mock posters, I've sat on this for years. I'd even asked my best friend @BigBDawg001 into helping me write it if I ever did it. Well, recently, I've made a decision. I'm calling it off. I don't have it in me to write it anymore. It had been slowly building in last year, but November made sure to put an end to my enthusiasm for it. There's people I'd want to cast if it were a real project — and with certain deaths and retirements, it doesn't feel right with any combination I'd tried to make up for it. I know some of you might not be happy with my decision, but it is my decision at the end of the day.
Kevin Conroy and Jason David Frank
I don’t look it, but I’m 37, soon to be 38, years old. I’m a child of the 1990s and I’m a geek. I grew up with the DCAU and Power Rangers – and the past couple of weeks, reality took a baseball bat to my childhood’s balls. First with the death of Kevin Conroy, then the death of Jason David Frank. Batman and Tommy Oliver are dead: By cancer and possibly suicide respectively. I didn’t even get the chance to meet either one – but it still hurts knowing they’re gone. It’s taken a bit of time to compose my thoughts on these events, so I feel like I should share them. Everyone who's known me for a long time knows I’m a massive DC fan. But Conroy, believe it or not, wasn’t really my first Batman. Believe it or not, thanks to reruns, that’s Adam West. I remember wanting a Batman action figure from the toyline based on the first Keaton Batman movie due to it color scheme matching the suit West wore (and the comics) and despite him not being in the film, being happy that Robin

Since Nolan's Batman wasn't an unlikable @$$#*/&/villain protagonist, I believe there's a chance he wasn't being sarcastic...
