Deviation Actions
Looks exciting, but I have some issues. First off, yeah, I kinda have to agree with the sentiment that Cyborg looks like a human-sized Bayformer. Also, I'm not sure about how Aquaman looks and acts, as I wish the costume was brighter (and the torso a bit more orange or gold) and I thought the Justice League cartoon struck a good balance between regal and badass. Also, I recently made it no secret that I'm not fond of the whole "Zoom went back in time to kill Barry's mom and framed his dad for it" deal (and even saying Flashpoint was the result of Barry's actions is a big plothole as Barry saving his mother was technically undoing an alteration in time itself) and from the looks to it, the movie is going with that. On the other hand, the Flash's look is alright, I guess.
Also, when I think of music for the League, rock songs aren't usually what springs to mind.
UPDATE: I stand by what I said about Aquaman's torso armor having too much green and my thoughts on going with the Flash: Rebirth route for Barry's backstory, but if they're going with Cyborg having weapons built into him, the Bayformer-esque aesthetic makes sense. The CGI still looks fake is some shots, but hopefully, that's just unfinished CGI.
My Thoughts on the Classic Robin Suit
Not too long ago, I discussed my thoughts on Superman's costumes and the hypocrisy of both Zack Snyder and a certain creep who was involved in Fox's X-Men films. Well, I'm going to now talk about my thoughts on updating one of the elements I'd mentioned in that post. That's right: Robin's short shorts. I understand why it's updated and think it's a good idea. However... I'll be honest: I hate the omission of green in a lot of cases. I hated it with Tim Drake in the DCAU. I hated with when Batman & Robin made Robin's suit basically the Nightwing suit with a cape and the symbol red instead of blue. And I've never liked any of the Robin designs in Young Justice. As an aside, I also hate the inverted colors on the Robin symbol on Tim's costume in the YJ revival and Dick's suit on The Batman. I also hate them slapping one of Tim's outfits on Dick or Jason. Hated it in the DCAU, hated it in Batman Forever, hated it on Teen Titans, hated it on The Batman, hated it in Under the
An Announcement
As a lot of you may know, for over a decade I've kicked around an idea of a fanfic called Multiversal War. Despite making mock posters, I've sat on this for years. I'd even asked my best friend @BigBDawg001 into helping me write it if I ever did it. Well, recently, I've made a decision. I'm calling it off. I don't have it in me to write it anymore. It had been slowly building in last year, but November made sure to put an end to my enthusiasm for it. There's people I'd want to cast if it were a real project — and with certain deaths and retirements, it doesn't feel right with any combination I'd tried to make up for it. I know some of you might not be happy with my decision, but it is my decision at the end of the day.
Kevin Conroy and Jason David Frank
I don’t look it, but I’m 37, soon to be 38, years old. I’m a child of the 1990s and I’m a geek. I grew up with the DCAU and Power Rangers – and the past couple of weeks, reality took a baseball bat to my childhood’s balls. First with the death of Kevin Conroy, then the death of Jason David Frank. Batman and Tommy Oliver are dead: By cancer and possibly suicide respectively. I didn’t even get the chance to meet either one – but it still hurts knowing they’re gone. It’s taken a bit of time to compose my thoughts on these events, so I feel like I should share them. Everyone who's known me for a long time knows I’m a massive DC fan. But Conroy, believe it or not, wasn’t really my first Batman. Believe it or not, thanks to reruns, that’s Adam West. I remember wanting a Batman action figure from the toyline based on the first Keaton Batman movie due to it color scheme matching the suit West wore (and the comics) and despite him not being in the film, being happy that Robin

I'm sorry, man, but I thought this was a terrible trailer and the song choice didn't fit the Justice League at all.
