Well, we now know how the Squad will look in their upcoming movie.
I hate Captain Boomerang's look. There's no way around it, I hate it. If that's supposed to be Enchantress to the right of Rick Flag, I'm not overly fond of her look, either. Killer Croc looks okay, I guess. Basically a green version of the the Thing from the Tim Story Fantastic Four movies. Then again, it was either that or motion capture if you want to keep Croc normal human-sized. Slipknot, I really can't talk about as my only real exposure to him as Wonder Woman and Green Arrow interrogating him in Identity Crisis, but I guess it works. I don't have any real thoughts on his comic costume either way.
That said, I do like the other costumes. Rick Flag's outfit looks pretty good, as though I kind-of expected that. El Diablo's costume is a damn sight better than his New 52 get-up. Deadshot looks pretty good and does evoke Deadshot, and Will Smith posted on his Facebook that, yes, Deadshot will indeed wear the mask. Harley looks pretty good, not that different from her Batman: Arkham City and Injustice Insurgency looks. Katana is based on her New 52 counterpart, which works; it's more creative that Katana's Beware the Batman look, even in-universe (Seriously, she just dons a domino mask with her normal clothes).
UPDATE: Well, Bruce Timm approves of Harley's movie look. So, one of Harley's creators gave the outift his blessing.
UPDATE 2: Paul Dini also approves. So it's official: Harley's creators approve of her outfit in the movie.

My Thoughts on the Classic Robin Suit
Not too long ago, I discussed my thoughts on Superman's costumes and the hypocrisy of both Zack Snyder and a certain creep who was involved in Fox's X-Men films. Well, I'm going to now talk about my thoughts on updating one of the elements I'd mentioned in that post. That's right: Robin's short shorts. I understand why it's updated and think it's a good idea. However... I'll be honest: I hate the omission of green in a lot of cases. I hated it with Tim Drake in the DCAU. I hated with when Batman & Robin made Robin's suit basically the Nightwing suit with a cape and the symbol red instead of blue. And I've never liked any of the Robin designs in Young Justice. As an aside, I also hate the inverted colors on the Robin symbol on Tim's costume in the YJ revival and Dick's suit on The Batman. I also hate them slapping one of Tim's outfits on Dick or Jason. Hated it in the DCAU, hated it in Batman Forever, hated it on Teen Titans, hated it on The Batman, hated it in Under the
An Announcement
As a lot of you may know, for over a decade I've kicked around an idea of a fanfic called Multiversal War. Despite making mock posters, I've sat on this for years. I'd even asked my best friend @BigBDawg001 into helping me write it if I ever did it. Well, recently, I've made a decision. I'm calling it off. I don't have it in me to write it anymore. It had been slowly building in last year, but November made sure to put an end to my enthusiasm for it. There's people I'd want to cast if it were a real project — and with certain deaths and retirements, it doesn't feel right with any combination I'd tried to make up for it. I know some of you might not be happy with my decision, but it is my decision at the end of the day.
Kevin Conroy and Jason David Frank
I don’t look it, but I’m 37, soon to be 38, years old. I’m a child of the 1990s and I’m a geek. I grew up with the DCAU and Power Rangers – and the past couple of weeks, reality took a baseball bat to my childhood’s balls. First with the death of Kevin Conroy, then the death of Jason David Frank. Batman and Tommy Oliver are dead: By cancer and possibly suicide respectively. I didn’t even get the chance to meet either one – but it still hurts knowing they’re gone. It’s taken a bit of time to compose my thoughts on these events, so I feel like I should share them. Everyone who's known me for a long time knows I’m a massive DC fan. But Conroy, believe it or not, wasn’t really my first Batman. Believe it or not, thanks to reruns, that’s Adam West. I remember wanting a Batman action figure from the toyline based on the first Keaton Batman movie due to it color scheme matching the suit West wore (and the comics) and despite him not being in the film, being happy that Robin

I hate to say this but I think DC is going to shoot themselves in the foot with these film efforts. I mean, I don't mind an untested property being brought to the big screen. It certainly worked for Antman, but DC is going way too high-concept with their direction. I mean, Man of Steel was a good film but it wasn't fun, not in the way the MCU films have proven themselves to be. Dawn of Justice looks to be more of the same. And let's be honest, who out there really knows who the Suicide Squad really is...?
I hope I'm wrong because I really want to see more Green Lantern in film but I'm not holding out much hope...
